H is for Have Eggs?

Every year at Easter, my hubby, my kids and I spend a couple of hours coloring eggs. Why do I love it so much? Because Egg is my middle name! Okay, if you want to get technical on me, it's the middle part of my first name.
Seriously, though. How many foods are there where you can decorate the shell it comes in?

Pretty, no?

I was going to... you know... actually talk about writing today. But I've been spending 12 hours a day working through first round edits, and right now, my brain is not really functioning on the higher levels. I'm pretty much at egg pretty, cracking bad.

Soon, though--- soon! I can feel it! I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Yes, I'm aware that it's just another tunnel, but the next one has lights! Light pretty. Dark bad.

Okay. I really should go now.

We were out of town for the weekend and didn't color eggs this year. I am thinking we need to fix that when we get home; better late than never! You guys do good work, very inspiring.

I love Easter eggs. They're the best part of April in my opinion. Your eggs look amazing! Great post.

My kids love to decorate eggs too! I helped my them and two nephews decorate on Saturday. I am a decent artist so they like to make me draw on the eggs with crayon.

My daughter had me draw flowers, bunnies, and goldfish. My nephew said, "Ang, you can choose...I want hunting, fishing, or war on my egg."

LOL! Not very eastery...but funny.

Pretty eggs! We haven't dyed any as a family. It wasn't a tradition I grew up with. Perhaps I should start it...next year. :)

I love coloring eggs as well! And those are SUPER cute! :D Good luck finishing up those edits. They do suck, but they're worth it in the end. :)

Nice one, (P)egg(y)! We didn't decorate any eggs, but we did have an egg hunt with our two-year-old grandson. So much fun and he loved the chocolate inside.

We gave up hiding real eggs the year we couldn't find one--until many months later and our five-year-old found it and tossed it in the large garbage can. It broke of course. *gag*

Your name has egg in it, that is very neat! I wish my name was that crafty. Those are some beautiful eggs; we ran out of time yesterday and completely forgot to decorate our eggs.

PRETTY! I love decorating easter eggs! It's SO much fun. Yours turned out beautiful. Don't crack with your edits though. Hang in there. :) There pretty light is closer than you think!

lol @ 'egg pretty, cracking bad'

They do look lovely. I'm sure you could decorate bananas though - they come in their own 'shell'.

Your edits sound painful! Good luck.
